Can I try a class first?

Yes, we offer a free trial class to so you can see if you would like to continue. We do not pressure you to join as we want you to be completely happy with your choice. The free trial class also provides us the opportunity to see if you will be suitable for our programme, as safety of members and correct training practices are foremost in our minds.

How do I join?

Please contact us and we will provide you with all information you need and assist you with the enrolment process.

Do I need to have a particular fitness level before I begin training?

In general, your fitness relative to each respective art will develop in time with your practice. However, prospective students with a pre-existing illness or injury, or any concerns at all, should consult their Doctor before embarking on any program. Please discuss your circumstances with our instructors before you begin to train.

Is age or gender a barrier?

Generally, high school age and older is the minimum requirement for Adult classes. Some of the arts require a high level of maturity and are unsuitable for children. Otherwise, there are no age restrictions to general training. Gender is not an issue for any of the arts.

Do I need to buy any training gear when I first start?

No, the club will supply your basic needs for the first few weeks.

How much will training cost?

As an organisation that promotes ethical conduct, please contact us and we will provide you with a transparent summary of the overall costs associated with your specific training requirements.

What will I need to bring to training?

A bag to keep your belongings in, filled water bottle, towel, and shoes (footwear compulsory to and from training).

What should I wear on my first night?

Something comfortable – T-shirt and shorts, or tracksuit pants.
